Strongman collapses at finish line after rupturing both patellar tendons

Dan Jones, 29, competing in a Strongman event in Southport, collapsed near the finish line after rupturing both patellar tendons, causing his kneecaps to shoot into his quads. He underwent a gruelling five-hour surgery to fuse his tendons.
