Huddersfield hit with heavy snow as parts of the UK gripped by icy blast

Motorists were battling worsening road conditions in Yorkshire as snow lays and the temperature drops below 0 degrees. Earlier today, the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice from 4pm on Sunday.
