2023: Probe into Britain's 'worst zoo' after nearly 500 animal deaths

Freedom for Animals deployed an undercover investigator to work as a volunteer at Cumbria Safari Zoo, formerly South Lakes Zoo, throughout 2023 to gather evidence of its operations. The zoo has been dubbed Britain's 'worst zoo'. It has now closed.
