<p>In a bizarre twist in Nebraska’s Senate race, Democratic primary winner Cindy Burkett says she plans to drop out of the general election to back independent candidate Dan Osborn. Democrats also accused primary challenger William Forbes of being a Republican “plant” meant to siphon votes away from Osborn. Reacting to the results, Osborn tells Laura Coates that Nebraska voters proved they “were not dumb” and “were not for sale,” adding that he will continue to fight for working class people and not take corporate money.</p>
