Cornel West: DOJ's $1.8B fund should pay reparations for slavery

<p>President Donald Trump wants to use federal tax dollars in a $1.776 billion fund to compensate allies who claim they were unfairly targeted by the previous administration. The deal was worked out between the DOJ and the IRS to settle Trump's lawsuits over leaks of his tax returns and claims of unfair treatment.</p><p>Dr. Cornel West says if there is such a fund, there should also be payments to the ancestors of slaves for reparations.
