Three hikers killed after volcano erupts in Indonesia

<p>At least three people, including Singaporean nationals, were killed and around 20 hikers remain missing after Mount Dukono erupted Friday morning on Halmahera island in Indonesia’s North Maluku province. A local guide who escaped with two German tourists described feeling strong tremors and seeing hikers near the crater just before the sudden blast, which sent a large ash plume skyward and continued erupting into the afternoon.</p>
