House Committee Votes to Subpoena Wexner in Epstein Probe

A House committee voted Wednesday to subpoena billionaire retail tycoon Les Wexner in its investigation of the late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. An email released by the Department of Justice last month revealed that law enforcement officials working on Epstein's 2019 prosecution identified Wexner as one of 10 "co-conspirators." Wexner wasn't charged in the case. Representative Robert Garcia of California, the top-ranking Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, said he had secured the subpoena of Wexner. The executors of Epstein's estate, Richard Kahn and Darren Indyke, also would be subpoenaed, he said.
