Lawmakers 'Working Through' Tensions Around ICE Funding

Republican Representative Erin Houchin said Republicans and Democrats are still working though differences over whether there should be restrictions on Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but there needs to be a cooling of the rhetoric around ICE's work. The Indiana congresswoman said that she does not believe that a two week stopgap is enough time for the necessary negotiations around funding the Department of Homeland Security, but that she believes her party will get the job done.
