Tariff Cut Would Boost US-UK Whiskey Trade: Swonger

Chris Swonger, President and CEO of the Distilled Spirits Council and President and CEO of Responsibility.org, says President Donald Trump's pledge to remove a 10% tariff on UK spirits would "inject vitality" into the industry, boosting trade and giving producers greater predictability between two "uniquely intertwined" whiskey markets. The President's announcement came following King Charles's visit to the US, though the tariff rollback has not yet been implemented.
