Fromherz Says Iran Escalation Not 'Fully Merited'

Allen Fromherz, director of Georgia State University's Middle East Studies Center, says escalation against Iran is not "fully merited" after President Trump called off a planned strike. Fromherz says Trump appears to be listening to Gulf allies who still see a ceasefire as the best outcome, while Iran is using a strategy of "delay and deflect" in negotiations.
