Rep. Lawler: Uranium Is 'Biggest Part' of Iran Deal

Representative Mike Lawler (R-NY), chair of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa, says getting enriched uranium out of Iran is the "largest part" of any Iran deal, calling it vital to President Trump and to ensuring Tehran does not get a nuclear weapon. He says a war powers resolution would only bolster Iran during negotiations, and defends Trump's dismissal of midterm politics, saying he cares more about the long-term stability and safety of Americans than "a single election."
