Old people's homes in Brecht, Deurne and Denderleeuw are being monitored by the Flemish government after a number of complaints. The nursing homes may experience a lack of staff or problems with the infrastructure. They can expect extra visits from inspection teams; if the situation does not improve they may lose their licence.
