Contractor aware of stability issues before school collapsed | VRT NWS: news

The contractor of the Antwerp school that collapsed a year ago killing five construction workers had been aware of stability issues at the site for over six months according to a letter written to the main contractor by consultants. A judicial investigation into the incident is still underway. Jan Buelens, the lawyer representing the ABVV and ACV unions as well as four surviving victims says the matter needs to be thoroughly investigated.
