It’s been the busiest day so far this year at Flemish seaside resorts. Sweltering heat inland brought tens of thousands of day-trippers to the coast. The Crowd Barometer coloured amber in Ostend, Blankenberge, Middelkerke and De Panne this afternoon indicating how immensely busy and crowded it was.
