In his speech marking the Flemish holiday Flemish premier Jan Jambon (nationalist) has spoken of the need for greater ambition and pride, but he adds in order to be truly ambitious Belgium’s political system needs to be thoroughly reformed. Mr Jambon appealed to the people of Flanders to make an end to the current intolerable situation at the next federal elections.
