A man walking his dog in Meerbeke (Flemish Brabant) has been attacked by two dogs on the loose. The man was bitten various times, while his own dog did not survive the attack. The news was reported by Het Laatste Nieuws and confirmed to the VRT. The Meerbeke mayor has announced extra measures. There were problems with the owner of the dogs in the past.
