4,000-kilometre cycle race gets under way in Geraardsbergen | VRT NWS: news

The Transcontinental Race Europa began on Monday morning in the East Flemish town of Geraardsbergen. The 280 cyclists from 33 countries that are taking part in the cycle race will cycle 4,000 kilometres through Europe. Geraardsbergen is proud to have been chosen to organise a race that enjoys no lack of prestige in cycling cercles. It is the fourth time that Geraardsbergen has been chosen.
