Opening of Berlaar asylum center postponed due to staff shortages | VRT NWS: news

The opening of an asylum center at Berlaar (Antwerp Province) will be delayed by a week. The Red Cross that will run the centre says that it won’t be ready to receive its first asylum seekers on 1 August as had originally been planned. Staff shortages and delays in the delivery of furnishing for the centre are among the issues blamed for the delay.
