Young stork bitten to death after flying into lion enclosure at Planckendael Zoo | VRT NWS: news

Nature can sometimes be very cruel and an example of this is featured in a film that is currently doing the rounds on social media. The film shows a young stork that is learning to fly. The bird inadvertently flies into to the lion enclosure at the Planckendael Animal Park, near Mechelen. The stork is promptly bitten to death. The footage dates from mid-July.
