The public health science institute Sciensano has released the latest figures on the coronavirus pandemic in Belgium. They show a further fall in the number of new cases of coronavirus and in the number of people with COVID-19 that are hospitalised. However, the number of patients with COVID-19 that are being cared for on the intensive care wards of the country’s hospitals is up.
