For the second night in a row residents of the Cronjéstraat in the Antwerp district of Borgerhout have been woken up by the sound of an explosion. This time an explosive device went off next to the entrance hall of a block of flats at the junction of the Cronjéstraat with the Generaal de Wetstraat. The explosion caused considerable damage.
