E40 motorway at Aalst will be closed from 10pm on Sunday | VRT NWS: news

Preparations for work on two bridges on the E40 motorway mean that it will be closed in both directions between Erpe-Mere and Aalst (both East Flanders) between 10pm on Sunday and 5am on Monday. The motorway is being closed to enable the contractors that will carry out the work on the bridges to get their material and machinery into place. Traffic will be diverted from the motorway between the Aalst and Erpe-Mere interchanges.
