The country’s largest consumer of electricity the Belgian National Railway Company (NMBS) is also feeling the pinch caused by the ongoing energy crisis. The daily ‘De Standaard’ reports that NMBS has asked the Federal Government for additional financial support to help it meet soaring energy bills.
