Overturned truck causes long jams on E40 Motorway in Drongen | VRT NWS: news

An overturned lorry triggered long tailbacks on the E40 for coast-bound traffic this morning. The accident happened in the morning rush hour after a sudden puncture. The lorry was carrying 21 tons of sand; part of the load ended up on the motorway. Nobody got injured but there were long jams for both Ostend- and Brussels-bound traffic with waiting times of up to one hour. The road was cleared by noon.
