Belgian army howitzers that the Belgian government wanted to send to Ukraine are finally getting there thanks to the British government. The Belgian army sold the used howitzers that had recently been updated out of money worried for 15,000 euros a piece, but when it discovered that repurchasing them now would cost 150,000 euros a go it shied away from the deal. The UK government didn’t have any such qualms and paid the market price.
