A man that drove at high speed into members of a carnival group in Hainaut Province in March is to remain in custody. On the morning of 20 March, the man drove at high speed into a group of people in the village of Strépy-Bracquegnies. They were members of the local carnival group and were getting ready to go and celebrate carnival in the nearby town of La Louvière. 6 people were killed and a further 10 seriously injured when the man, who was returning from a night out, crashed into the group.
