Match fixing probe: prosecutors strike amicable settlement deal | VRT NWS: news

A court in Antwerp will today consider whether it accepts a series of amicable settlements agreed between prosecutors and suspects in a major football scandal. Federal prosecutors have struck a deal with ten suspects in the “Clean Hands” case. In return for a fine and an admission of guilt no prosecution will proceed. A decision is expected by the end of the month.
