The Federal Government has agreed a series of measures aimed at cutting the number of people that smoke in Belgium. The new Anti-Tobacco Plan will extend the smoking ban that currently is in force in all publicly accessible buildings to public places in the open air that are frequented by large numbers of children, such as zoos, theme parks and play areas in public parks.
