New prison building in Dendermonde inaugurated after 20 years | VRT NWS: news

20 years after the plans for the building were approved, the new Dendermonde gaol has been inaugurated. It has a capacity of 444 inmates. There is still a major staff shortage, but the first inmates will only arrive next year.
