Words spoken by Flemish justice minister Zuhal Demir (nationalist) with regard to the asylum crisis have triggered a storm of criticism. Ms Demir, who doubles as environment minister, said: “It’s possibly a strange comparison but we can’t keep millions of pigs here”.
