Saturday night was the coldest night of the year so far with temperatures at the Royal Meteorological Institute’s headquarters in the Brussels municipality of Ukkel falling to almost -7°C. Saturday night’s minimum temperatures were just below the previous record lows for 2022 that were recorded earlier this week.
