Record number of Flemish care homes "blacklisted" | VRT NWS: news

About 25 care homes in Belgium have been "blacklisted", meaning they are being monitored as there are concerns that residents are not getting adequate care. While the number usually fluctuates between 10 and 15, this has grown to a record-high now, the newspapers of the "Mediahuis" group report. There are about 820 nursing homes in Flanders.
