It’s very unusual but the hay fever season has already started. The mild weather at Christmas means alder and hazel trees are already blossoming. The rainy conditions are offering respite to hay fever sufferers but that could soon change when it gets drier. Temperatures remain mild meaning many more alder and hazel trees will soon blossom.
