Number of jobseekers in Flanders fell by 7.9% in 2022 | VRT NWS: news

New figures released by the Flemish Bureau of Statistics Statistiek Vlaanderen show that the number of people in the 5 provinces that make up the Flemish Region that are seeking work fell once again during 2022. Using figures from the Flemish Employment and Vocational Training Service VDAB, Statistiek Vlaanderen found that during 2022 177,956 people that were without work registered with VDAB in an effort to find a job. This is 7.9% down on the number that did so during 2021.
