Suggestions for trip to germany

Hi folks, I'm taking my 12 year old son for a 10-12 day trip to Germany (from Denmark) this summer. Any suggestions where to go? We like to camp out in woods and light a fire for roasting sausages. Perhaps the museum of natural history in Berlin. Bits of the 'wall'. Other suggestions...
