Organisation of sport

The organisation of sport in Slovenia is based on the European model of sport, which emphasises solidarity, inclusion and fairness. Sport is organised in a pyramid structure – from grassroots to top-level – and, generally, according to the principle of one national sports federation for each individual sport.
