Motorways and express roads, which statistics say are among the safest roads in the country, provide users with a higher level of service and comfort compared to other roads. Toll revenues finance the operation and maintenance of the motorway network. In addition, tolls provide a permanent, stable and long-term source of revenue for the repayment of loans taken out for the construction and renovation of motorways.
