The NHS is broken but not beaten, Health Secretary Wes Streeting told the Commons, as he pledged to end the "two-tier" healthcare system.In a statement, he said: "I'm not going to pretend for a second that the experience of patients this winter is acceptable, the Government has been honest about the state of the NHS since the election and we will continue to be. The NHS is broken, but not beaten. It will take time to fix, but it can be done."
