Russia's foreign minister was seen hugging Kim Jong Un today as he thanked North Korea for sending troops to the Ukraine war. The ministry quoted Lavrov as saying that the visit represented the continuation of "strategic dialogue" between the two sides inaugurated by Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to North Korea in June 2024.
