French riot police clashed with suspected migrants in the northern town of Gravelines on Friday morning as they attempted to cross the channel to the UK. Police forces exchanged tear gas for petrol bomb thrown at them by migrants.The clash took place a day after migrants boarded an inflatable boat in Gravelines to cross the English channel over to the UK.
