Transport Secretary Mark Harper has declined to say whether MP Lee Anderson's remarks about "Islamists" taking control of Sadiq Khan and London were racist despite being pressed repeatedly, reiterating only that they were "wrong".Mr Harper was in Yorkshire to announce how transport funding redirected from the Government's abandoned HS2 plans will be shared across regional councils.
