Israel threatens to seize Lebanese land if Hezbollah rocket fire continues

A series of Israeli airstrikes hit buildings in central Beirut this afternoon, while Israel's defence minister said they were preparing to step up operations in Lebanon. Lebanese officials said 687 people have now been killed since hostilities began.
