Labour takes a drubbing in London as Greens surge and Tories take Westminster

In London, it’s shaping up to be a breakthrough for the Green Party, winning control of several councils. While Labour defied some expectations, holding onto some London boroughs like Hammersmith and Fulham, and Ealing. But in the north and southeast of the capital, it lost to the Greens.
