UN calls situation in Gaza a 'nightmare of historic proportions'

Close to 2,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in nearly a month in Gaza in what the U.N.’s Assistant Secretary-General for the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific is calling a "nightmare of historic proportions."
