President Macron says US plays key role in de-escalating conflict between Israel and Iran

French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday said it was "entirely positive" that President Donald Trump was to leave the Group of Seven summit a day early, as efforts to de-escalate the conflict between Israel and Iran continued.
