Peruvians celebrate election of Pope Leo XIV in one of the parishes he helped to build

Parishioners of Trujillo Cathedral on Thursday celebrated the election of Chicago-born Robert Prevost as the new Pope Leo XIV, who spent decades in Peru in various posts and became a Peruvian citizen.
