Paramedic who injected Elijah McClain with ketamine before his death avoids prison

Former paramedic Jeremy Cooper was sentenced to probation in the death of Elijah McClain. Cooper faced up to three years in prison after being found guilty last year of criminally negligent homicide for administering a dose of the sedative ketamine to McClain.
