Europeans plunge into cold water in New Year tradition

Around 10,000 revelers in the Netherlands welcomed in the new year by diving into the freezing waters of the North Sea while Italian divers in Rome plunged off the Cavour bridge down into the Tiber river, continuing a New Year's Day tradition that goes back decades.
