UAE sentences Qatari to 7 years in Islamist trial

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — The United Arab Emirates' top court convicted a Qatari doctor and sentenced him to seven years in prison on Monday in the latest move by the Gulf federation against the Muslim Brotherhood and its perceived Islamist allies.
