Top-seeded Ferrer into 2nd round in Buenos Aires

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — Top-seeded David Ferrer of Spain defeated Maximo Gonzalez of Argentina 7-6 (7), 6-4 Tuesday to reach the second round of the Copa Claro clay-court tournament.
